Director Renny Harlin is kickstarting a reboot trilogy with THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 1 this summer, and it’s just been announced that CHAPTER 2 will be landing sometime in autumn.
Madelaine Petsch is the lead of the new trilogy, playing a character who drives cross-country with her longtime boyfriend to begin a new life in the Pacific Northwest.
When their car breaks down in Venus, Oregon, they’re forced to spend the night in a secluded Airbnb, where they are terrorized from dusk till dawn by three masked strangers.
It was ALSO revealed that Chapter 1 is not be a direct remake of 2008’s THE STRANGERS, so here’s to some surprises in store!
