The cast for FX’s upcoming “Alien” series continues to grow, with Variety reporting that six more actors have signed on to star in the franchise’s first small screen outing.
Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James , Lily Newmark ,Diêm Camille and Adrian Edmondson have all been cast in the series.
Sydney Chandler stars in FX’s “Alien” as Wendy, said to be “a hybrid, a meta-human who has the brain and consciousness of a child but the body of an adult.”
The previously announced cast also includes Timothy Olyphant, David Rysdahl, Essie Davis, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin and Adarsh Gourav.
FX’s “Alien” series is expected sometime in 2025, and they have previously noted, “Expect a scary thrill ride set not too far in the future here on Earth.”
The series is created by Noah Hawley, Ridley Scott is expected to be on board as producer, and Ellen Ripley will not be involved.
