Porn filmmakers in 1981 seek to cash in on the slasher craze by making their own independent ripoff that follows a group of spring breaking college coeds as they are stalked by a mysterious killer beekeeper at a camp with a tragic past.
In the fictional slasher movie, a group of college coeds on spring break visit Camp Hayewood, a campground with a dark past. Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious killer dressed as a beekeeper is brutally murdering people in the area. As the characters split up for typical slasher tropes like skinny-dipping and campfire stories, the production continuously derails. The cast and crew frequently interrupt the narrative to argue about script outcomes, mock technical mishaps, or awkwardly force in heavy product placement for their fictional sponsor, “Fierce Whiskers Whiskey”. The final 20 minutes delve into absolute absurdity, introducing World War II Nazi curses, a long-lost insane twin, and multiple false endings.
